About our Team
The BuildHQ team is led by licensed builder Steve Whiteman. Steve has been in the building profession since 2009 beginning with an apprenticeship in carpentry. As well as our company director, BuildHQ currently employs 3 full-time fully qualified carpenters.
Since 2015, BuildHQ has been delivering excellent building projects to our Sydney based clients.
Our methods ensure our projects are efficient and in-line with our customers expectations. With the finished product in mind, we deliver our projects on time and within budget. Through clear communication we provide regular updates to our clients on progress, costs and any options/changes that arise along the way. We pride ourselves on customer interpretation; understanding the desires of the client and being able to bring these to fruition.
About our Director: Steve Whiteman
After completing an apprenticeship in Carpentry, Steve worked as a sole-trader carpenter, subcontracting to some of Sydneys most prestigious residential construction companies and working along side some of the best trade professionals. Steve’s ability to analyse and interpret a project is one of his greatest assets. His ability to problem solve ensures all of our projects are completed efficiently, without compromising on quality. Steve is a ‘stickler’ for rules, and therefore ensures that all projects and processes exceed all Australian building standards and practices.
Although Steve is predominantly focused on residential construction, Steve has also been heavily involved with projects in other sectors of the construction industry. These include; Sydney International airport renovations, Western Sydney sewage treatment plant upgrades, and the new Woolworths automated factory in Auburn.
